Matt Duckett
Lead Pastor
Matt began his tenure as the Lead Pastor at FSBC Lawrence in July 2024. Matt is a graduate of Wichita State University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Sarah, married in 2017. They have two young sons, Owen and Hudson. Matt enjoys anything coffee-related, spending time with family, and reading a good book. Matt’s passion in ministry is to see lives transformed by the the life-changing message of the gospel.
Cameron Peck
Pastor of Worship & Discipleship
Cameron began serving as Pastor of Worship & Discipleship at FSBC Lawrence in June 2026. He is a graduate of Kansas State University and spent five years in collegiate ministry serving at both Kansas State University and Pittsburg State University. He married his wife, Annelise, in 2022, and they have a young son, Baker. Cameron enjoys playing music, reading, following soccer, and coffee dates with his wife. He is passionate about leading worship, discipleship, and teaching God’s Word so the church might glorify God and fix its hope on the gospel.
Michael Garner
Director of Student Ministry, Evangelism, and Missions
Michael joined the FSBC staff in June 2023 as a summer intern for the Student Ministry and has served at the church ever since. In June 2026, he began serving as FSBC's Director of Student Ministry, Evangelism, and Missions. Michael is a graduate of West Texas A&M University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Molly, have been married since 2021. He enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and doing leatherwork in his free time.
Heather Seratte
Director of Children's Ministry
Heather has been a member of FSBC since 1989 and worked in children's ministries for 25 years. She graduated from Ottawa University with a degree in Elementary Education. In addition to being our Children's Director, Heather is also a substitute teacher for the Lawrence School District. Heather is married to Scott, a local firefighter. They have three children Jacob, Ethan, and Evann. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and creating photo albums.
Sarah Duckett
Creative Content & Communications Coordinator
Sarah joined the FSBC Lawrence staff as the Creative Content & Communications Coordinator in July 2026. She loves using creativity to tell stories, connect people, and support the ministry of the church. Sarah graduated from Wichita State University and enjoys serving alongside the FSBC family. She and her husband, Matt, have been married since 2017 and have two sons, Owen and Hudson. She enjoys coffee, a good book, watercolor painting and spending time with her family.
Erin Roberts
Office Coordinator
Erin has been a member of FSBC since 2016. She and her husband, Scott, married in 1999. They have four boys: Ryan, Jackson, Luke and Henry. Erin joined the staff as office coordinator in October 2019, after staying 12 years at home with her children. When not shuttling the boys around, she enjoys reading, working outside and spending time with family and friends. Erin is excited to be serving the FSBC Lawrence family.
